Order and Elders in the Church

This morning we are going to discover what Paul told Titus concerning the churches on Crete. It may surprise you. As we have worked our way through the introduction, we are getting into the inspired revelation that Jesus wants us all to know about what He wants in His churches.

Again, this is not to burden us, but to bring Jesus Christ, the Head of the church, maximum glory. It is to help us grow in grace, live holy lives, and be the best ambassadors for Christ in this world. Paul’s letter to Titus helps us live lives of grace-fueled obedience. I want to point out two characteristics of a God glorifying local church so that you can understand what Jesus Christ wants for His churches.
