Day Two: The Waters Above and Below

If you reject the literal meaning of the days of creation, you open the flood gates to deny every other historical and miraculous event in the Bible making the authors of Scripture and Jesus into liars by treating the Bible as a book of myths. God used every mechanism possible in the Hebrew language to let us know the days of creation are literal, consecutive, sequential, 24-hour days! Gen. 1:8 then tells us, "God called the expanse heaven. and there was evening and there was morning, a second day.”
