Righteousness Attained by Faith

Having defined faith, stated the importance of faith, and the first foundation fact of faith, which is creation, the author of Hebrews now begins to illustrate for us how the men of old gained God’s approval. For them and for us, it has always and only ever been by faith for nothing else can please God.
