Worshiping God in Spirit

If God requires a physical place and way of doing worship, we must do it. But worship becomes sin and sacrilege when we are all form and no spirit. The Jews fell into this over and over again, just like Christians do today. We follow along in our Bibles when the Word is read, pretending to listen to the preacher, even jotting down notes…we have the “form” down to perfection. But what is going on in our spirit? In this sermon we’ll look at worship that pleases God—from our spirit.
