Counting Your Losses in Christ

In Philippians 3:7-11, the Apostle Paul appraises the spiritual value of his former life as a law-keeping Pharisee, as well as everything else outside of Christ. In Paul’s estimation, the total worth of all things when compared with Christ amounts only to loss. In this passage, we see that Jesus plus nothing equals everything.
