Session Speakers
Pastor Dave Hintz
The pastor-teacher at Flint Hills Bible Church in Emporia, Kansas, Dave has pastored for over 20 years after receiving his seminary education at The Master’s Seminary. Dave and Becky have four beautiful almost-grown children and a thriving ministry at Flint Hills Bible Church in Emporia, KS. When not in the office, Dave enjoys country walks with his wife, reading biographies, and following Kansas basketball.
Pastor Dave will teach "A Worthy Man" from Ruth 2:1-16 for our Friday night session. Sunday evening he'll preach from Malachi 3:13-15 in a sermon called, "Warning Signs."
Becky Hintz
Becky married her college pastor and has been faithfully serving alongside him ever since! In addition to homeschooling, Becky has always been deeply involved in the full spectrum of church ministry, but her passion is teaching God's Word—whether to squirmy three-year-olds or a room full of women. Since 2007 she and Dave have lived in Emporia, Kansas, where he is the senior pastor of Flint Hills Bible Church.
Becky will be teaching the ladies, "You Follow Me" from John 21:18-23 for our Saturday session.
Jacob Higdon
Jacob has been a member of Anchor Bible Church since 2013 and currently serves as a lay-elder. He has a passion for expository preaching and is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Theology under Dr. Jack Hughes through the Mentor Model program at The Master’s Seminary.
Jacob will teach “Falling Out of Love With The World” from 1 John 2:15-17 for the men on Thursday evening of The Summer Sessions.
Dr. Jack Hughes
Our pastor-teacher at Anchor Bible Church, Jack has pastored for over 30 years after receiving his training from The Master’s Seminary and Westminster Theological Seminary. He loves preaching, teaching, discipling, and equipping the saints for lives of love and devotion to the Lord.
Pastor Jack will kick-off The Summer Sessions on Tuesday evening teaching from our theme verse, Jeremiah 6:16, in a sermon titled, "Stick to the Ancient Paths!".
Josiah Young
Josiah is passionate about teaching and administration and eagerly uses his gifts to serve Anchor Bible Church! He is currently pursuing an M.Div. under Dr. Jack Hughes through the Mentor Model program at The Master’s Seminary.
Josiah will teach ‘Remember These Things’ from 2 Peter 1:12-15 on Wednesday evening for The Summer Sessions.
